How to Make a Bluetooth Controlled Robot Using Arduino + HC-05 + L293D
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to build a simple Bluetooth-controlled robot car using the L293D motor driver, the HC-05 Bluetooth module, and an Arduino UNO. This DIY project is beginner-friendly, low-cost, and a great starting point if you’re just getting into Arduino robotics and wireless control!
🛠️ Project Overview:
With just a few basic components, you’ll be able to control your robot car wirelessly using any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone and a simple controller app. Once powered and paired, your bot will respond to forward, reverse, left, and right commands in real-time!
📦 Components You’ll Need:
🟢 Arduino UNO – Compact microcontroller to run the robot’s logic
🟢 L293D Motor Driver – Drives the two DC motors with directional control
🟢 HC-05 Bluetooth Module – Enables wireless communication with your phone
🟢 TT Gear Motors (x2) – Provide the movement
🟢 65mm Wheels (x2) – Snap onto the TT motors
🟢 18650 Battery & Holder – Powers everything
🟢 Jumper Wires – For circuit connections
🟢 Soldering Iron & Glue Gun – Optional tools for permanent assembly
